I came across your blog on momlikeme today and wanted to let you know I was reading. My name is Nancy and I am a new mom. I am also married to a Zach.

I also wanted to let you know that I have had special needs children in my class in the past and while I was not their parent I did spend a lot of time advocating for them with others in the school. I know how dealing with therapists and other teachers can be frustrating. We're lucky enough to have good teachers thus far in Alex's life. We've been able to work out some concerns we had with one teacher, and everything seems to be rolling along well. He is gaining each and every day! It's because of amazingly caring teachers like you that our family's able to help him succeed. So, if no one's told you lately, thank you.
